You can tell your resolution by right-clicking your mouse on the desktop (no programs running) or run the display control panel. Most systems will allow you change your resolution. Mac users can use their monitor control panel. WebTV runs at a much lower setting and there is nothing you can do to change it.

Q: Can I improve the look of the pictures on my screen?

A: Yes, on some systems. You can tell your display colors (Win95/98) by right-clicking your mouse on the desktop (no programs running) or run the display control panel . Click on settings, then look at colors. If it is set to 256 colors, change it to high color or true color. If that doesn't work, check with your dealer, because 256 colors is a HUGE disappointment. Mac users can use their monitors control panel. WebTV is already set on high color.
